solve for X

4.9G^2 = V^2 cos (x) * (G sin (x) - h cos (x))

if you know what x is you probally know what this is for

well this is actrually a calculation im doing in my free time for a projectile luancher, its basically an indirect fire equation, hwo ever during the calculation I hit this obstical, I stared at it for literally hours and cant finish it , so far, I've tried calculas and algebra on it, but I'm not a big fan of geometery, so thats probally how to solve for it

never mind with this question, I figured it out, i guess if you want you can use this equation if you want. I'm now going to build that egg luancher now, watch out!

P.S. for this to work for you, you must also know which values go where

use formulas for cos(2x) and sin(2x) depending on cos(x) and sin (x) and then use the fact that
sin(2x) = sqrt(1-cos(2x)^2).
you will get a quadratic equation that you solve with quadratic formula
