I have nightmares all the time. And they feel so real, when I'm awake I could never even come up with tales so horrifying. I even learn things in my nightmares. But, I want to get rid of them and get a good sleep more often than not. What would help?

You require to do certain simple things before going to bed to ensure sound sleep. After one hour of dinner take a slow walk for about ten minutes. Have a glass of warm milk. Pray God and go to sleep. Dreams are but the play of unsolved problems in your mind. Dismiss dreams as totally meaningless non-realities. Laugh at yourself that you have been thinking so much about dreams.

My brother used to have bad dreams, then I taught him about lucid dreaming... he learned how to control his dreams and then he didn't have a problem with nightmares anymore.

explore the reasons behind the night mares. normally people get night mares due to anxiety, and phobias.and traumatic experience they had in their child hood. before going to sleep, drink a cup of warm milk and practice self hypnoses and give suggestions to your mind that you will not get night mares this night. drink plenty of water never sleep in complete darkness.use night lamp..if you are in a city consult a good psychotherapist and discuss with him your problem, he will deeply do psycho analysis and explore the reasons for your night mares and solve your problem.
