favourite music artist of all time is hard. music is very emotive and different music stirs different emotions. however i have chosen 2 with reasons for both.
Eric Clapton - when i saw him at wembley stadium with just him and his small band and liitle else on stage, no lights no backdrop, nothing, and he started to play the first few chords of layla i just burst into tears. A life moment i will never forget.
Fishbone (american ska/funk/rock/punk band) - Seen live at the Astoria in charing cross road (london) Angelo the lead singer climbed up to the balcony (no mean feat itself) and then putting total trust in his audience, dived into the crown from maybe 30-40 feet up. Again something that i dont think i will ever forget or see again.
I have chosen on live performance rather than records because very few artists when replicate on record the sheer joy experienced at a live gig.

Red Hot Chili Peppers,
they have some of the best, and most meaningful lyrics you can listen to, and their music is just of genius quality.
Anthony - writes brilliant lyrics
John - has the most awesome guitar work, much better than just chords that most bands play
Flea - un arguably the best bassist in the world, just a god
Chad - his drumming is wicked, and he is just Chad.
and as the RHCP, they make the most awesome music to grace the land, there are other good bands, but these guys just rock!!!!

H.I.M
The singer has a Deep Voice.
The lyrics are poetic and meaning full...And a little more on the sad side, Which i like.
Every album they have has a different sound to it...Unlike most band so i don't get bored with them.
The sound of the music is just perfect to me, Its a mix of Rock and Goth...But softer.
Been my Favorite band for a few years now <3

my chemical romance..because they are amazing, talented and have toughed and saved many of their fans lives. they've struggled so hard to get to where they are, and because so may people identify with ttheir struggles, it makes them approachable. they are very dedicated to their fans and us fans are dedicated to them. They are great live. some bands suck live, but they are great in the studio and live. Their lyrics have so much passion and lyrics to them and its not some **** they threw together in a month. and you GOTTA be good to make a concept album. have u seen the singer's drawing....awesome. Love them for a few years....and will always love them. they have my undying support.

no problem ry cooder the long riders...hard to pick one out of so many ...but just great stuff .... and the fact that he was great live when I saw him at Cambridge Folk Festival I won't give a big list because you asked in the singular !!!!!!
