I am wondering about Walmart the day after Thanksgiving. If the store is open 24/7, can't you just be inside the store with your purchases and wait for the "doors opening time?" Do you have to wait in a line outside??

What happened last year was the for sale items were on pallets placed around the store. They were wrapped up until the sale time. So people can get in, they just can't grab the sale items until the employees take the coverings off. It worked really well, and nobody got trampled. Have fun!

The 24 hour WalMart I shopped at closed at around 10pm to stock and then the doors reopened at around 4 or 5 am.

Our Wal-Mart allows you to wait inside out of the cold, but you have to wait in line until exactly 5 a.m. before they open the pallets and let you get what you want. Last year, I literally went to the sale in my PJs and houseshoes. It was a blast!

I heard WM is going to be closed for Thanksgiving this year. But otherwise, it would make sense. They're not supposed to open until 5 or 6am.
