is it a work xmas party or a personal one?? Whats the dress code?? Stear clear of jeans anyway, just in case. I would wear a dress in a rich, luxurious looking material. Coast have some beautiful dresses in at the moment. I was at a party recently and wore a wine satin dress that was really fitted, strapless and had a big bow on my right hip. I wore this with a pair of gold jimmy choo's and my hair in 50's curls with a big sparkly clip just above my ear. Get the style section in the sunday times or cosmo ( avoid december vogue, not very good for the party season) and see what pictures they have that you could copy.

Sequins!!! It's festive and very NOW. Primark has a gold dress for £15 or so but there are a MILLION in the shoes, ranging in prices for £15 to £200.
Footless tights/ leggings/ opaque tights are still very in, you could wear them under a pretty dress to funk it up a bit? (esp if you dont like your legs! Its a god-send for me!)
Check out topshop.co.uk for key trends (also have a christmas boutique bit i think!). RiverIsland.comis quite good too as it will give you ideas for an entire outfit.
Also, all the glossy mags have websites now which will be full of ideas....
Personally tho, whether its in fashion or not, ALWAYS go for something flattering (if a current trend doesnt suit you, go classic) and fun!
Good luck!
(also for future answers, whats your price range?)

Hello this is thinkpink4u101
My idea is to start with the.... Shoes: I say a waged heel shoe so that you can feel comfortable. Color: Red;
Bottom: Wear pencil skirt. Color: Black;
Shirt: Go with white long sleeves/ shoulders showing. With a big wist belt. Color: Red.
Jewelry: With some nice pearls!
Hair: Wear your hair down in some nice big curls.
That in style now the big belts so go with that and you will look Fabulous!
The color theme Red, Black & White(x-mas colors)No Green!

since your dress is hot pink , I think don't accesorize too much as the colour is very vibrant, you should keep it simple a pair of complimenting not too high heels or maybe flats if you are tall. Don't wear any tights or leggings as it will make your outfit look more casual. Size 12 is ok not to wear tights ,as long as your dress isn't too short. keep it simple and natural looking, its the best goodluck xo
