When I download Sims 2 objects, skins, etc., my folders are zipped in the documents/EAgames/sims2/downloads folder and do not appear in my games. How do unzip the folders or make them so they are in the Sims 2 game??

There are a few ways of doing this:
♣Download WinZip and/or WinRar (or a similar program) and unzip with the instructions.
♣Download the Sim File Maid 2 http://mattwork.potsdam.edu/projects/SimFileMaid/index2.html
There, you drag the zip/Sim2Pack file into the lawn, and the maid unzips it for you.
♣Right click on the file, click 'Extract', when it asks you where to extract the files, extract them to Documents>EA Games> Sims 2> Downloads.

open them and extract them to that folder (documents/EAgames/sims2/downloads)
