tha't not something easily traced beause it's not likely to appear in print. except as dialoguein stories, perhaps.

Maybe someone mispronounced hi and it caught on. It happens, but it may also be a region thing. In my area people say that something is "wicked cool" to show thats its really cool. People in other parts of my country only think of wicked as being evil. It could have just spread from one area because of how informal and easy to say it is. Hope this helps! =)
