they use a sheet to basically slide the pt from the bed to the stretcher...normally this is done with team work.

Usually use a draw sheet to lift with 2 or 4 man lift. 2 on each side strecher parallel with bed 1,2,3 lift over you go.

You generally use what is called a lift sheet or a turn sheet. It is a sheet folded lengthwise under the patient to help lift them. If it is folded in half crosswise then it is called a turn sheet.

depends. if they use a sheet, they just transfer them that way. or they can use the mechanical lift to do it. just depends. but its always safe to do it with two nurses.
