Greetings from the US. I wonder which is the better country.
The British get a whole lot of credit from the states, and is
perhaps our best allies. Ireland is cool, too. But you always
hear about how beautiful their women are, and the green grass.
But the UK thinks they own everybody at times. I wonder what has
Ireland got to offer, and I admit they are tougher. Look at
how they fight. Them Irish, ain't nothin' to play with. So I wonder
who is better, the UK or Ireland ?

I live in England and I'm very proud of my country, I have fantastic friends in Ireland and love that country too, I think you will find that in most parts of England and Ireland there are people who will go that extra mile for you, beautiful people in both places and for me the grass is just as green on both sides.

I'm English. I've lived in Northern Ireland for 30 years. 2 wives (serial) and 3 kids. I went back to live in England 4 years ago. Couldn't wait to get back. Now resident in Holywood, Co. Down, where I will die - in peace and tranquility. There is no place on earth like Ireland. And I'm English!!

You get cheaper hols and flights from England. I live in N. Ireland and I would move to another part of the U.K. anytime. England and Scotland are great countries to visit.

dont really have an opinon on who is better in terms of UK and Ireland... but your comment on how the UK thinks they own everyone sometimes...... i think that your statement is more applicable to your home nation America. Sorry, but I think the US is a bully!
