Hey, everyone has a bad game. The fact that a team like Rutgers got this far is good for college football. Most people realized that even if they went undefeated they were not going to play in the big game.

Rutgers did better this year than they ever have. Everybody loves the Cinderella story. The truth is nobody was going to beat OSU this year, but Rutgers got a lot closer than people expected.

You had to figure that they'd run out of steam sooner or later. Actually, I don't think Cincinnatti is that bad though. They played the toughest schedule in Division I-A this year and of the 5 games they lost, 4 of them were to Top 10 teams. I think the Big East is underrated and it will show come bowl season. I look forward to the Big East getting 4 or 5 teams in bowls and winning a bunch of them. (Does anybody remember the Sugar Bowl last year and how everyone said that the Big East couldn't compete with the SEC?)

What's your problem? It's a game not a national crisis. I think the season Rutgers is having is wonderful for college football. It's nice to see the undergo get their moment in the sun once in awhile. Why all the hatred? Of course they knew they didn't really have a shot at a national title but as long as they were undefeated it was fun to imagine. Didn't you ever have a dream? What a jerk!

Still a pretty good team, but yeah, not a national championship caliber one. The hype around anything in sports these days is unbelievable.

Yes, they were exposed by Cin-ci-frickin-nati! How bad does this make the other Big East powers (note sarcasm) West Virginia and Louisville look? What a joke this conference is.

..and not to mention that Rutgers will get buried by West Virginia! They can still make it to a bowl...just a really crappy one.

it went up in smoke in Cincinnati this weekend. Still a good team, just not national champs.
No need to hang heads low.
