I dont really like either one of them too much, but I guess I would go with George Straight.

I think Alan Jackson but I never got into Country until 2000 when
I started getting into Karaoke as "Mailman Bob" in Cleveland.
I also like John Michael Montgomery, Garth Brooks & Billy Ray
Cyrus better than George Strait. Pure country people will more
than likely say George Strait over Alan Jackson but don't believe
them.

They are both good singers. But I myself prefer Alan Jackson.

they are both good and both have been around for quite some time. but if i had to choose it would be alan jackson. i love the album drive and i just love the song designated drinker.
