We can blame W on Bill. W ran on the platform that the only person he did "it" with was his wife. We went WAY overboard because we were mad at Bill for Monica. Regardless of how you feel W got in office, whether he stole the election or not, it shouldn't have been that close. If Gore didn't have Bill's moral challenges hanging over his head, W would have been an afterthought. The funny thing is - if there were an election right now between Bill and W, Bill would win. Stick that in your blue dress and smoke it.

Good question! I've heard that there is a strong anti-intellectual current in the US, and I guess that Dubya just serves as proof of that.
