Clarification...Toddler...not Infant.

They should. They should be charged double, and you should have to pay restitution to those sitting within 10 seats of you.

Depends on the rink, but most barns let little people in for free ages range but most are 2 and under. I wouldn't worry too much about the rink I'd be more concerned with the other fans sitting around you. What if you end up with a cranky infant that evening?

Now that you've clarified with toddler not infant I'd advise against taking them to a hockey game. Most toddlers do not have the attention span to sit through and entire game and you are really going to annoy the people around you who have paid money and hired babysitters to go to a hockey game. Especially if you are sitting in the middle of a row. Some barns have family sections if you're determined to take your toddler I'd check in to that. But I'd say everyone including yourself would enjoy the game more if you left the little one at home.

It depends on the arena and size of the toddler. Usually 2 or 3 and under do not need a seat but must be on your lap. I've taken mine to a game that way and it works fine because generally he gets bored within 15-20 minutes and you end up out in the concourses. The other people telling you to leave him at home can shove it, I am polite to all other patrons and if he acts up we take him out. I wish the rest would be more considerate of my older children who want to watch the game and not have to wear beer or ask me what certain words mean.

NO... they are too little to sit on one and the seat is usually to small to fit a child car seat carrier. the arena can not justify selling a seat..even if they have infant chairs available.

a toddler on the other hand could be very different depending on the rink....usually they will still be permitted without a payment...but in most cases must sit with you.

here is the Air Canada Center's rule on the matter....

A more important question is why would you bring an infant to a hockey game.

Most teams allow children two and under to be admitted without charge, as long as they can sit on the lap of an adult. I checked two team sites, the Leafs and Sabres, to confirm this. The Leafs allow kids 2 and under in free, while the Sabres do the same for 3 and under:

Before going to the game, I would check the site for the team and/or arena where you'll be attending.

No, out of respect for the patrons who have paid to watch the game you should be leaving your infant (toddler) at home!!

most rinks will want you to be able to keep baby on your lap they want money for all seats but small rinks not sold its ok as long as the seat you want to use is not alredy sold.
