It is a good movie. Daniel Craig will be a good Bond. The ultimate Bond in my opinion is Sean Connery, who was an alter ego for Ian Fleming. If you have read the Fleming novels, you will realize that Sean's James Bond is exactly what Fleming meant him to be - ruthless, intelligent, brilliant, suave but at the same time, vulnerable. Roger Moore was OK, he was a self parody of Bond. George Lazenby made only one Bond movie, he was OK. Timothy Dalton was more suited for the stage than for a Bond role. Pierce Brosnan was better than his last two predecessors. Daniel Craig brings out the vulnerability of the Bond character. I think he will be the Bond in the next 5 Bond movies over 12 years before the franchise deems him too old for the role. The original Casino Royale with David Niven was a spoof. The current film is eminently watchable if you are a Bond fan. I would recommend you see it in a THX Dolby Surround Sound Theatre with a huge screen and DLP projectors.

I've seen every Bond movie. A lot of people were saying this one wouldnt be too good because of the new Bond, and I went thinking the same thing. It had a lot of elements of the old bond movies, and also some new ones!

All in all, I really enjoyed it!

I thought it was bad at first from the ads and i got sick and tired of the CGI graphics from the old movies. THis had the whole deal. It was hard getting used to a new bond but this had action, a story plot, great intrigue, had the product endorsements, and was something new.

THe Die another day one was okay but i was looking for substance and not action. the stunts are great but this movie had a whole deal. i would give it a 7/10. It lacked things but i liked it.

It's alright. I liked Pierce Brosnan a lot, so it's not easy to like this new fella. A lot of action in it. You already know what a Bond film is going to be about before you go. They're all pretty good. I know this one was at least "on par" with the rest of them, but I wouldn't see any reason for calling it "one of the best". I've only seen the Brosnan ones and this one. I'd say this is 2nd to Die Another Day, in my opinion.

I think it's very very good... nice to see Arrogant Egoistic Bond fall crazily in love ...aawwww... Craig is very good as the new Bond too... i absolutely love the raw emotions in this film besides the stunts and the thrills that make a Bond movie...

I think it was an excellent movie....Daniel Craig does a good job as the new Bond....a lot of action and a bit different from the "normal" 007 movies....but I think in a good way, it's more hip and the producers are not afraid of a little change.

I highly recommend seeing it.

I just saw casino royale last night and it was pretty good. My favorite scene actually was when bond was runny after this guy in the opening of the film. The guy was amazing. I wanted to see more of him but he got killed off quickly. I liked the bumbling, unsure aspect of the character, who in the film has just been promoted to 00 status after his second kill. But he had more brutality than finesse, and I wasn't that thrilled with that. I'm withholding judgement until after I see more, but I think they need to incorporate more finesse and style into the film.
