Please answer my question?????
Does anyone know that when you have a court ordered child support to have it taken from your paycheck, (the child support is taken out weekly btw) you work in one state, but pay support in another, is it a federal law or do you go by state law on when to pay the support by? Because my husband's work has been withholding money but not sending it right away, when this went into effect they took out every week for a month and then sent the months for the next months payment, which caused him to miss an entire month. Is there anything we can do, the state the money is suppose to go to says they should have sent it for that month, and the payroll lady says she doesn't have to send it weekly. Thats not how the state we live in now does it. Who should we contact for help. Can anyone help us??

I'm pretty sure it's up to the state that issued the court order for the Child Support. I would check the paper with the order in it to see what it says about how often the money is to be taken out of his check. I think it's up to the agency who's processing the child support (i.e., keeping the record of his payments) as to when it gets mailed to you.
