While I can't say for certain because I don't know the exact nature of the seminar, I would safely assume it has to do with the herbal medicine used in ayurveda. A couple books have been written on the subject and the seminar probably deals with how the herbs and medicines used in ayurveda (well, a specific one anyway), interacts with the body on a cellular level.

you can work on two aspects (either one or both): ie. synergistic and antagonistic action of bacteria

look at the two examples below, u'll have a brief idea:-

1. Ayurveda says yogurt is good for stomach / digestion. Scientific truth is that yogurt contains Lactobacillus sp. a "good" bacterial strain which actually produces lactic acid that helps digestion and aids to maintain the acidic pH in the stomach which helps break down protiens. (synergisitc action)

2. you can prove how antiseptic / antimicrobial ayurvedic drugs like haridra (turmeric), gandak (sulphur), vacha (sweet flag), neem, vidanga (embelia ribes) extracts have bacteriostatic action. Simple coat a strain of bacteria like streptococcus on an agar plate and apply the extract in micro litre ranges and show the inhibition zone. (antagonistic action)
