Why cant we in India, manufacture modern times games like PS-3 We are equipped for it, but may be marketting.?

Did you mean games or consoles? (The PS3 is a console)

Either way, could the common Indian afford a console? The next gen consoles would cost around Rs. 20,000. Then there would be the games, a few thousand rupees each.

Then there's awareness. Most teens are stuck with the high difficulty education that India is well known for. They're too busy with their books and exams and marks to pay heed to the gaming industry (generally).

Because the game developers of India often moves to USA, JAPAN etc. for better salary. Developed countries outsources our eficient developers. Also the animators and multimedia tycoons find few interest in India. Recently movies like 'Hanuman', 'Krishna' etc are animated movies released in India. And the base of game developing lies in multimedia and animation. You will be stunned to know the poor condition of Indian animation industry that the best Animation farm "PENTASOFT" closed some days ago.
