Missing 1 pill out of 21 increases your risk of pregnancy considerably so if you are taking the pills as a contraception and you are not able to take them every single day you should consider other contraceptive options and there are quite a few. Injections, patches, and rings that are inserted into the vagina for example. Your physician should be able to help you make an informed decision.

Doing that will offer absolutely no protection against pregnancy. You might as well not be taking them at all.

If it is such a problem, ask your doctor to change you to a different type of pill. That almost always fixes things.

You MUST take the pill every day. It is also a good idea to take the pill the same time every day. As a general rule, if you miss a dose, you have no protection against pregnancy for the next 7 days. If you can't take your pill correctly, you are almost certain to get pregnant. If you regularly have problems with taking the pill correctly, there is a simple solution. Get the 3 month shot. That type of birth control was designed for people like you.

NOPE. YOu will not be protected against pregnancy that way. I had the same problem so my dr. put me on the Nuva Ring...that way the birth control isn't digested so it can;t make you sick. It has helped me out a lot and I will NEVER go back to the pill! It is also only once a month, so you don't have to worry about it.

You need to take them as prescribed - every day. If they are still making you feel nauseous after a month, they may be too strong. You may need a different prescription. I had to go through three or four different brands before I found one that suited me and didn't make me feel sick.

birth control pills are supposed to be taken everyday. If you only take one every other day, they won't work the way they are supposed to and your chances of becoming pregnant are higher.

No, not a good idea. If I were you, I would talk to my doctor and discuss the many options of oral contraceptive. There are so many choices out there (depo shot, the patch, yearly contraptions, etc.); Well, unless, you're trying to get pregnant.

Good Luck!
