Maybe retail stores not so much as robots but computers might ring and bag yourself registers, but they'll still need security. At a few banks in San Diego the teller has no cash all she does is issue you a receipt like slip and you put it in a ATM like machine and get your cash, but Kaiser hospital has a real robot it's kind of cool I don't know what it does but it stops when you approach it.

Where did you get the date 2065 from ?. I have comunicated with our design team and have been assured that if our production stays on schedule we should be ready to take over by 2010.

Yes it's true and what's more instead of social security every one will get a robot to do the job their doing so they can relax and starve while watching the robot.

Well I highly highly highly doubt it but nothing is impossible just improbable. So you shouldn't have anything to worry about just live 2006 not 2065.

technically they already have.. there are machines in japan that can talk cars that can drive themselves and in hospitals machines breathe for us keeps our hearts going and much more so why not... id like to be friends with a robot at least that way ill have a friend for life :(

NO, if we could invent robots that have a mind of their own, we could invent a time machine to go back in time, and stop that from ever happening
