My friend gave me some maternity clothes, but they smell like mothballs! I have tried so many things. Any ideas??

Washing anything with white vinegar will get any smell out, it also works as a great fabric softener (for towels especially, where regular fabric softener makes them less absorbant). You put about a cup of white vinegar in the wash when you add the detergent. Your moth-ball smells will dissappear!

You can wash them is soften or hang them on the line out-side and spray them with house spray very lightly. I like to spray mines with rose spray.
