my friends are coming up from england so i want to do something really good.

During the day you could try out Xscape which is a leisure centre in Braehead with loads of really cool stuff like indoor skiing, snowboarding, rock climbing and sky-diving (!).
For the evening I'd suggest heading to the Glasgow student union or to Sauchiehall street for a pub crawl, then onto The Garage or The Tunnel for a dance.

Every new-year Glasgow has a thing going on in George's square in town. You can ice skate and all sorts. Check it out things kick off early December and go on until January!
