I think that people enjoy reading about such people because they remind us that even rich people fall flat on their faces, so even if you're Jane Average and don't have a lot of money, at least you can count yourself lucky that your sex tape doesn't precede you.

Contestants on reality shows that don't involve a talent (shows like American Idol and ANTM are ok though because there's at least that premise of working towards an actual profession)

I don't want to name names but any child of a celebrity parent is bound to be famous by association....even if they do nothing but mooch off of their parents. I love when they try to have 'fledgling' careers of their own....it's kind of hysterical because they never have the talent their parent does!
