Mine is Eid day and whats even better is its a different time of year each year.

My favorite day is Eid ul Fitr day. Its because after 1 months fasting it feels great to celebrate the occasion together with my family. In my country Bangladesh, Ramadan is special event, specially before Eid, everyone is out for shopping, everyone eagerly waiting and preparing for Eid. Its so nice to be in this crowd. My family, my parents and sisters, my uncle's families go all together to our grand parents house before Eid day. So its the only day most of get opportunity to celebrate and enjoy the day.
Now while I'm married, my Eid day is quite different now, but still its great to share the joy with my husband, although I miss celebrating with my family.

24th December, my children are always so excited about Christmas Day and Father Christmas coming! So magical to see their faces, to do the whole whiskey and mince pies thing and to sneak about doing last minute wrapping, putting presents under the tree, preparing the Christmas dinner.

I think it is Christmas because people act nicer to each another and more mellow.
