I've done National Express from Heathrow to Bristol. I think it was about 26 pound with advance purchase. You could take Megabus which is a lot cheaper, but you have to go to London first, then back out with Megabus, which essentially turns a 2 hour trip into a 4 hour trip.

National Express - they leave Bristol Bus Station every 20 minutes, and they cost roughly £16 for a single journet.

Stay well away from Megabus - they cost at least £5 and take a MINIMUM of 8 hours to get to Lomdon

You could get a train from Bristol to Reading and then get the RailAir link to Heathrow - depending on how far ahead you're booking, this can be as cheap as £14.50 for the whole journey and only takes about 2 hours.
