Just sort out this problem for someone else, he was running AVG virus program but no spyware program.

I would say your spyware program is no good.

I would say you've got add on tool bars that your not aware off.

Cure: Go to the link below & do a on line scan keep doing it until it said your computer is clean - then get a good spyware program

Ok

Hey,
In my opinion Ccleaner is the number one tool for cleaning your pc. I've been using it for more then a year now and it works very well. You can grab your free copy here http://bit.ly/UrArsS
It's a very simple and nice software.
Good Bye

What you have is spyware/viruses that are editing your registry to cause POPUPS of ADDS and certian sites to appeal to you even if they do not...

What you need to do is run a few scans with spyware and virus scanners...

Go to
http://www.ewido.com DOWNLOAD and install this product, FULLY UPDATE IT once installed, and then do a full system scan, remove all it finds...

After that you may want to try a virus scanner if you do not have one installed, and if you do have one installed i reccomend removing it then attempting to scan with this one...
http://www.free-av.com/
Once again, download it, update it, then scan... Do the spyware one first.

you have probably picked up some spyware/adware... download windows defender or spybot or ad-aware.... clean up the pc or if their are loads of problems you may have to reformat, widows defender is free from microsoft, and is easy to use, use it to look for abnormal registry changes

Get at least three free programs because no one program can detect all spyware http://www.basicspywaretips.com/getridofspyware.html
