It seems they know how best we should run our country. I think they want to make the USA part of their empire again. Maybe they know better since they think they have learned from their mistakes and have a few things to teach their "child" country.
O.K. UK, what would you do with our monster nation if you got it back, and is England a good example?
yikes.

If we gave it back to the native Americans, can we move over there and kick out your immigrants?

First to go is the death penalty. Then comes the militarism & the pledge of allegiance, etc. Then comes a comprehensive welfare state including tax funded education and health care for all (not just the wealthy elite).

Devolution to the states would follow (possibly leading to the end of the union); a centralised curriculum system would be introduced. Gun ownership banned and truly phased out.

The legal system would adopt the division of work between in-court barristers and high-street solicitors and lose the guaranteed free lawyer but would adopt the loser pays all legal costs principle. And the Supreme Court would lose its powers back to parliament (to Congress, the rightful lawmaking body; and the Senate might lose power in relation to the House of Reptvs).

Gay rights & abortion would be legalised; pot-smoking and prostitution would be semi-legalised through making it "not the highest priority for the police". And the US would take part in the Commonwelath games (which is a mini-Olympics for 70+ nations and all the UK's overseas islands each with quasi-nationhood status, perhaps with the US playing as individual states).

So a lot would change, but nothing all that painful - recent UK colonies were never kicked around like they may have used to be.

But on the whole, I cannot say that the UK would be a better influence on the US than any other country or group of countries might be. And of course it is impossible that they are ever reunified, though it is possible that the US one day joins all the other english-speaking nations in the Commonwealth of nations, a very very very loose intended cooperation and friendship alliance of states (while not abandoning its funny spelling system of z's and missing u's or its driving on the right which it would not be asked to lose).

I agree with repatriation: all people of European origin should be returned to Europe from Canada, US and Australia. This has many advantages, including addressing Europe's population decline. Europe could then stop bringing in immigrants from the third world.

*seems rapidly above* could you look at that? Idiocy extremely does beget idiocy! :p To the O.P: a) What makes you think of Argentina (not "argies" as you positioned it) desires to grow to be a colony of the united kingdom? b) How does 5% Muslim inhabitants in the united kingdom make it a Muslim u . s . a .? c) Why do you think of that Argentina could carry non secular matters into any determination to best pal with any u . s . a .? d) Are to attempting to recommend that Muslims are undesirable using fact they actively prepare their faith, or that different aspects of the united kingdom inhabitants are undesirable using fact they don't? e) What do you recommend via "previous worldwide"? Are you speaking approximately Africa, the birthplace of humankind? Or another definition that in basic terms you recognize approximately? f) i think of you recommend 'immigration', not 'migration'. that's what birds do. g) Are you donning your tin hat to maintain the voices out? Yes, it does seem like our government wants to have its old colonies back. The problem is that the US has already got them now and there is nothing Tony Blair can do about that.

I would like to see it run as a benign colony along the lines of Canada, New Zealand and Australia.
MMMMmmm, back taxes, hadn't thought of that!

Blair does everything Bush orders him to do, Blair's tongue is so brown cos of all the times he's licked Bush's **** and you think we are after taking control of your country. Bush won't be happy till the UK is officially a state of the US (and not unofficially as it is now)
