That's just wrong. Try to find someone who is single. The child deserves to know it's father, but it doesn't deserve to be the reason of a marriage to break up.

My ex-wife had a child out of wedlock by another man years before I met her.

I'm sorry, I couldn't do that train-wreck again.

The next time I marry, I'm going to choose someone who made most of the right choices on all thing and all the right choices on the important things like not seeing married men, and certainly not getting pregnant by a married man.

I hope you get this train-wreck sorted out. The best thing you can do for yourself, your child and any future spouse is to fix yourself first, learn from your mistakes, and instead of trying to find the one, work on being the one someone would be proud to call a partner.

Rescue yourself, don't look for a knight in shining armor to wisk you away.

I'm not a man, but I've been in that situation...not by choice as the man lied to me and his own family about being divorced. If you are waiting for him to step up and be an real man by being involved in the child's life, don't hold your breath. He's got a wife and family of his own, so why would he give that up for your child?

It's been 11 years since I was lied to and had a child, and the bio donor has nothing to do with my child. And truthfully, I am thankful that who my child is has nothing to do with a loser like her donor beyond genetics.

why would you want a baby from a man who is already taken. having is baby doesn't mean he will commit to rearing the child.
