Several of those before me have pretty much covered and validated your feelings toward the "same sex" and not much more I can add to that.

Perhaps the "better" question that was NOT asked is "is it normal to become aware of these feelings at this stage in your life?" Today most gay people come out or become aware of their identity in their teens or twenties. However it is not unusual for men in their 40s, 50s or older finally recognizing what these feelings are. Many have suppressed these feelings that they have refused to label as "gay" or didn't recognize as such. But over time as you become aware that these feelings aren't some aberration that is unique to you. You become aware that having these feelings may be a valid part of who you are today.

We all have our own clocks telling us when its the right time to come out and recognize this part of our life. Yours just was pushed back a bit more than some, and that is NOT unusual, that's just how you were wired.

I suggest you do some reading on this, check out web sites about "coming out" or go to a bookstore like Borders, or Barnes and Noble and look in the Gay and Lesbian interest section. You'll see that you aren't the first, and certainly won't be the last to have these feelings.

Ignore the religious bigots. If that is the way you feel ask yourself why you feel that way, what are the reasons you can see etc and if you think you feel this way for any wrong reason then examine them carefully. If you think your reasons are correct, then go for it.

You must already know that Christians will (contrary to their messages of love) hate and vilify you. And you have to accept to some degree that 'gay' is basically not acceptable in that religion.

Your choice if you decide to follow your instincts is very wide. You can become gay and keep it personal and no one (other than your gay partner and friends) will know. You can "come out" and live an openly gay life, in which case some people will accept you and others will not. You can become a bit of a queen which is more difficult for non gays to take and lastly there is the option of being screaming. (That does not sound like you!).

The important thing here is to first know what you want, why you want it and to be reasonably sure you will be happy with what you chose.

The decision is yours and also when to make it.

Good luck.

Yes, they are totally normally, but be prepared for a lot of ignorant feed back from the 'Adam and Steve' people. Statistically, one in ten people are gay and lesbians. Is there a gay community center in your town? If so, they may have coming out and support groups. Try contacting them and don't let ignorant people make you feel bad. Being gay is like being left handed - some of us are just born that way.

Nothing is wrong with these feelings . If these feelings arise from within, and not from someone taught this to you - then don't feel not one bit ashamed.

I lived all my life with these feelings. I can swear (so help me God Almighty) that I NEVER in my life had any attractions or impulses toward s the female gender, none of them. I love guys, the way they look, their faces, their bodies, the way their underwear smells, the sound of their voices - everything pleases me which men have. _ I find nothing at all good or pleasing about the women or girls. I find women to be sneaky, liars, and dangerous. I insist that I'm right. In fact - most girls are EVIL.by nature. women have a sly, cunning, sneakiness built into them. Women only TAKE - but they never GIVE anything.

My happiest joy was the first time when I kissed a guy deep into his mouth and his tongue played with mine in my mouth. I wanted to melt from the thrill.

It is OK for you to have sex with a guy and to kiss him and to caress him and to even LOVE him deeply. Any man alive is naturally drawn to a cute guy -all men are basically gay - and would prefer a man rather than a broad.

Feel free to email me privately and ask me further info or advice. I'll help in any way that I can.

So whats holding you back? Family? Job? It really depends if you want to pursue it or not. If you do pursue it, just be prepared what you are going into. I suggest you find someone who can basically tutor you about gay lifestyle. Being gay is not that gay at all. You have to consider AIDS, homophobia and other things. Good luck!

Absolutely. There is nothing wrong with someone having feelings of being gay.

For some people straight is the way to go, for others, it's OK to be Gay.

Let your heart decide, not society.

Yes they are normal. I know a lot of guys who repressed for the first 40 years of their lives. Don't repress any longer honey. Let those feelings out and experience what you have wanted all along.
