he is not feeling very secure in the relationship you need to find some way of getting through to him and reasure him that you are not , the worst thing you can do is to argue about it show him how much you care about him . its probably not that he does not trust you it is probably that he does not trust other men .

Truthfully speaking, your husband sounds like he has low self-esteem and he also seems a bit jealous.
It is totally ok to speak to individuals of the opposite sex as long as nothing else happens.
Tell him that you do not plan to cheat on him when you do go and visit his family.
Keep the lines of communication open and and all should be fine.
Hope this info has been helpful to you.
God Bless.....

Congratulations! You're a prized possession. He owns you... you're not allowed to chat with any other guys coz he feels they can easily allure you away from him -- like he can with other women, too, as he assumes it. Like he just knows that.
But the truth is, he lacks confidence in you.
Best for you to do is interact with your fellow women there and just say "hi" to the other guys. After the visit, let your husband know what sacrifices you've done then ask how much he trusts you. Brace yourself for some "ridiculous" explanations. It's fun to hear them though; be amused while you watch him explain.

Because, if he loves you, then of course he would be jealous of others taking up your time. When it comes to the opposite sex, it does not bother him. Buuut, if you are talking to a man who is attracted to you, his natural instinct to possess and protect becomes more prominant. Hence, jealousy. Don't take it as anything other than a compliment. He loves you, and doesn't want any other man tempting you...so. What you can do is shower him with affection, therefore demonstrating your attachment to him. This makes him feel that no matter who is talking to you, he knows that you will always come back. why? Because his love is the best.
Good luck!

Men know how men think and most of them do not beleive that men and women can only be friends. It takes alot of trust on both parts for this situation to work out. I have alot of male friends and my ex husband always thought that we had sex in the past. My new fiance knows about my male friends and is really good about the open mindedness of other men just being my friend. He also knows there was nothing easy about obtaining sex with me, especially casual sex. That in itself lets him know he has nothing to worry about.

Because he's insecure would be my best guess.
Had me a boyfriend once that used to go ballistic about me talking to my guy friends. Turned out he was a psycho. Real good thing we broke up.
There isn't much you can do except stop chatting with them and try to make your husband as secure about your relationship as possible.

Tell Hubby that you do not want to go if he is going to humiliate you and your sense of morality and commitment to him in front of others by acting like an insecure (cheating himself????) butthole. He ought to be proud of you, not jealous that you are able to talk to folks of both genders. Tell him that there is an incredibly thin line between love and trust and you have to have both...to have both. Don't go!

Why are you chatting with this other man - and visiting his family?? That sounds weird. I don't blame your hubby for wondering - you should stop this immediately and put him at ease. He deserves that much.

Because he knows he's incapable of being "just friends" with a girl.
It's true, though. They're always thinking about it.
What should you do? Respect your husband and the boundaries of your marriage.

A man can have a good friend that is female. A true friend will stave off lustful feelings as not to loose a true friend. I have a couple of friends that are female, and they are really cute, but I know that it would put undo strain on their relationship, and maybe even loose me a good friend. You love him, and and if he knows you love him, he should go over his and your vows, where it says.....love and trust. My wife is not my friend,... she is my love.
