Claiming they would easily win a rematch. It is as clear as glass that the officials kept them in the game. Troy's interception was a product of not one but two defenders hitting the receiver before the ball (pass interference). The Ohio State catch that was over-turned, then on the next drive Michigan has the same situation and there isn't even a reveiw. Also, for my information, exactly what the hell is roughing the center?

That is funny. I get a thumbs-down, but no answer to match.

Desi D, helmet to helmet on a QB is a personal foul...plain and simple. What else you got?

No complaints from me about the officials, I agree that we actually caught a break on the INT.

THe buckeyes were the better team and deserved to win

Sorry, but if they were going to call an illegal pick on the OSU touchdown, that was the sorriest excuse for one I'd ever seen. There wasn't even much of a rub, and the two Michigan defenders ran into each other.

Officials missed what should have been a 15-yard face mask on Michigan on a punt early in the game, and the interference call on 4th down that kept the Michigan drive alive late in the game was about the lamest call I saw. As for the roughing the center, if it's a rule, it's a penalty. But there's no doubt that the hit on Smith was a helmet-to-helmet and should have been called.

The interference call and the two fumbled center-QB exchanges kept Michigan in the game. Otherwise, OSU wins by 17.

There were bad calls for both teams. Don't forget the illegal pick play that gave Ohio State a touchdown. I guess you missed that one Slim because it was so obvious. Also, roughing the center has been around for a long time. Before engaging the center the defense must allow him to position himself ( i.e., raise up from the crouch position with his head up).
I do not favor a rematch because I would like to see a USC, Florida or Notre Dame get a shot at Ohio State. One thing is for certain in that neither Ohio State nor Michigan have much of a defense.

As a neutral fan, I would say that the officiating was really a non factor. Michigan had a shot to stop Ohio St. on 3rd and long, then #2 commits a stupid foul on the QB. Dont blame the officials on that, that was a huge mental error.

Aside from the officials and the penalties that was a great game and I don't think anyone should let the refs calling or not calling something allow any of us to forget what we witnessed.

One of our Great Rivalries not just for a bowl game for For Everything and both teams stepped up, and played thier butts off.

As a Nuetral fan in this riviarly I was more than satisfied with the way these teams played.

passing the center was a silly call, he kept his head down for a really long time, so what were we supposed to do, sit there and wait? The Buckeyes are the best team in College football in all aspects of the game. they played a great game, and put up 42 points on "the best D" maybe the best rushing defense, but did that stop our two big runs for over 50 yards. and wait, was that a FRESHMAN chris wells on the first rushing touchdown? there is the future my friends.

Michigan will win a rematch for the championship. And roughing the center is when you dont allow the center to get his head up before you hit him. Also, talking about the officials. What about that sorry personal foul call when Troy was running out of bounds? He hardly got hit, he was just flopping.

Maybe they wanted an extra 2 seconds like last season at Penn State.....that ruined our chance at a national title.
