Probaly fell off the back of a truck. Check the sellers rating. Probaly a copy of the original and works fine.

.
There is a good chance that they are genuine
BECAUSE
tons of people I know, including me
get Norton, get disgusted with Norton,
dump Norton, and want to get some of their investment back in that expensive ram hog....
why not ebay it? It's legal if you UNinstall it from your computer to sell it.

May I save you the $12.50, and the time and stress of using a product that will disappoint you? Forget Norton, and no need to pay for McAfee.

Instead:

totally cool tool

I bought some software on EBay from someone with great ratings, and was promised original software, unused in its original sealed container. I was ripped off, as it was a cheap illegal copy. I had no recourse as EBay requires you to go through so many hoops that it would cost more to contest the rip-off than what the con artists took from me.

Also, I switched from McAffee to Norton because McAffee ate the files on two of my computers.

god i hate norton... it makes the pc run slow at start up and slows it down for everything... i use windows firewall, a free version of A.V.G. for virus protection combined with windows defender for adware protection and as for now i have never had any problems with security

i got genuine Notron from ebay, so according to my own experience, yes it might be legal, it might be cheaper as guy got it in many coppies, and is cheaper as he does not pay for shop floor ;) or whatever, anyway my is fully legal :)

I also bought Sopranos for 80, all legal:) it just how it is on ebay ;) cheaper :D
