your views on diessection?

If you are pro or con please give me the reasons why for my Biology class... give any websites if you quote. please i would like to have your opinion. Just know that this will be in my paper if i want to use it. you will be cited as a person on yahoo.com/answers so please give me your opinion, i thank you good bye , good day, goodnight and happy thanksgiving

For someone going into the biological sciences, dissection is imperative. However it is unnecessary for most students to personally cut up fetal pigs or other animals, especially in the age of computer simulations.

In high school I had a big showdown with my physiology teacher over this subject because I refused to do the dissections.
