Sadly it seems like a by product of what the forum has over time evolved into. It would be nice if we could respect each others opinions and all be friends, after all we are here because of our love for football not to hate each other.

Sport is a replacement for war.
Therefore sport is politics.
Seriously, some people are in serious need of a life (myself included)

If people don't get over sensitive, can take criticism and humorous mocking of their teams and star players, everything will be OK.
I have different writing moods. Sometimes I praise, sometimes ramble, sometimes tease and some times insult with sarcasm.
But I don't get worked up when I'm on the receiving end.
I come to Yahoo Answers to relax, pass time and offer opinion. As such, I am seldom affected by any negativity directed at me.

Good question,
Because jealousy is making some people blind with hatred and can't seem to handle that type of disorder very well. That pathological disease gets worse as the affected person loses a few IQ points every day, so only a miracle worker would be apt to fix the problem.

that would be ideal, but it’s v. difficult to achieve when you’re in a public forum like this. all we can do is work on ourselves, try being an example of what we think a good user should be. ppl notice that and who knows, maybe it will rubbed off on them. that’s as much as we can hope for, really.
(vince s. has got a point tho. maybe we just spend too much time here, lol)

i have!...plus these people are very "strong" since they are behind the screen...so of course they'll talk badd
