With all the bull i read on here, i'm just quickly wondering if we are not the norm or the majority anymore.
Are you married? In love with the person you are married to?
Have relations only with the person you are married to?
How long have you been married?
Happy Holidays to you and your families.

It really was a simple question, o.k. questions. Thank you to the people who answered honestly and directly. To you others, thanks for just making it more obvious that the world is in trouble and civilization is rapidly declining.

You are probably right, we are not in the norm. Yes I am married and I love my husband more than I thought was ever possible to love another human being. We are true and faithful to each other and we have been married for 19 years this past August and have 2 wonderful teens. We love telling people how long we've been married when asked and hope to have many many more years together. Thanks for asking and I hope you are happy and in love as well. Love is a very precious and wonderful thing, if you have it you are truly blessed!

Hope you have a Happy Holiday Season as well!!!

Is this place the best 'gauge' for the world or society in general? I'd have to say no. In my experience, people that come here generally have bad experiences in their relationships. Someone who's blissfully happy probably doesn't need advice from other people, right? I see a lot of people lose hope in marriage and their own relationships, but you have to keep in mind what happens to them will not necessarily happen to you. I know lots of couples, married and otherwise, who couldn't be happier. I envy them, and I remind them about how good they've got it often. They always say "Believe me, I know!" The Internet is a readily available place for the heartbroken to comiserate! That being said, sadly I am one of the unhappy. After 25 years, I have been abandoned by my wife. The rest of her life takes all her time and energy and at the end of the day, there's nothing left for me. I believe people change. I know I have, and we have simply grown apart to polar opposites. Counseling, talking and all other efforts have failed. I am very lonely, I have needs, and I am about to see what it's like to have some of those needs met with a very special lady. Am I happy about that? Yes and no. I'm hurt and angry that I have to look elsewhere, changing and possibly destroying life as I know it. But like they say, sometimes change rises from the ashes. And you're right about the bull, but those folks keep it interesting.

I am married and very much in love with my hubby. We've been married a year now, together for 3 years and he's a very kind and loving guy. Prior to meeting him, I had relations with quite a few other men.

I am not married...but totally in love with the man that I am with..
I am not married, because at this point, I don't want to be married. I was married once and unfortunately he passed away in 1998. I am just not sure that I want to do it again.
Happy Holidays to your family also...

Good points. I tried to provide honest answers here but at times it's beyond my comprehension some of the nonsense I see.

The blue sun glass people are a treat. They consistently have the silliest questions I've ever seen.
