Although I was a little disappointed that they didn't pick up where they left off at the end of last season. They had us wondering if Van and Cheyenne were going to be growing in separate directions in their marriage....and while I'm glad the two kids are still together and happy, I wished they could have resolved it for us clearly and not just dismiss it like they did. Any thoughts?
BTW...What do you think of Melissa Peterman's weight loss? I think she looks fabulous!

I watched it last night. I agree with you that they didn't really resolve last season, but I think they had to address Melissa Peterman's weight loss first because it is so drastic. She lost a lot of weight and I don't think they could have ignored it for the first show and then bring it up later on. I did think it was funny how they didn't really say anything about Scarlett Pomers being gone for so long. "Hey, where have you been?" "Nowhere, I just went to get something to eat." (For anyone who doesn't already know, she was in treatment for anorexia last season.) All in all it was a decent episode, but I'm glad its back.

I didn't know the season premiere came on last night! I wonder if I can find a place to watch it on the net?

I saw like two minutes of it. I thought it was a repeat because I too thought the show was cancelled or had it's series finale.

I watched it! It was a good episode...and Melissa looked great! I just hope that doesn't affect the show because Barbara Jean was just hilarious the way she was, ya know? :)
