A) I can tell if I am being listened to by body language and the affect I appear to make with the person with whom I am speaking. If they appear attentive and respond appropriately during my interactions I think they're listening. I think that the perception of attention is the single most important indicator of being listened to.
B) I would turn to a domain expert for advice. If I am seeking medical advice I would choose a physician. If my advisory needs were related to domestic chores I would ask my mom. If I needed advice on my automobile I would ask my mechanic. If I needed information about the trees in my yard I would consult my arborist.
C) I think I'm an excellent listener because I provide both attention and the ability to comprehend most anything a person would try to communicate with me. I think a good vocabulary and orientation in the three spheres of time, place, and person.

A) Depends on who I'm talking to - my parents have an awful habit of switching off, especially if i'm talking about things to do with my work. But mostly I do feel people listen to what I have to say.
B) Would have to be my Mum, she has a lot of life experience.
C) I do feel I'm a good listener, people have been impressed by the fact that I can remember things they tell me long afterwards - perhaps it's cos I've listened to them, duh!
Good luck with college!!!

A) Partner: when the TV is on, no. At other times, yes. Friends: yes. Lecturers: mostly yes.
B) Partner, friends, or, depending on crisis, lecturer
C) I don't think so, but people randomly tell me things that they never tell anyone else, so I must at least *look* like a good listener.
