It's a scary/horror film. It has a young girl in it real young like six. She has a ball like a metal ball small it fits into her hands and the only part I can remember is when she gives it to a guy she says some word phrase and spikes come out of the ball...Good luck I've been trying to figure it out for years

The ONLY Phantasm movie is could've possibly been was PART THREE. I've seen the first one over 50 times and YES it has a 'metal sphere' in it but it would hardly fit in a small child's hand. Speaking of small child, there is NO small child in Phantasm! There is no 6 year old girl in this movie or part 2 or part 4. The only one I only saw once was the very sucky Part 3, which may or may not have had a 6 year old girl in it. Everyone is seeing 'metal ball' and just assuming it was Phantasm, but TRUST ME, it was NOT. What you describe DOES sound very familiar though, I just can't place it. My only guess would be Phantasm 3: Lord Of The Dead, but still just a guess :-) good luck

Sounds like Phantasms ball but I don't remember a little girl in the first film. Maybe it was one of the sequals. Phantasms ball does not have multiple spikes.

Phantasm is a low-budget cult classic horror movie released in 1979 but made in 1977. It was directed, written, photographed, co-produced and edited by Don Coscarelli. It introduced The Tall Man (who was portrayed in the film and its sequels by Angus Scrimm), a supernatural and sadistic undertaker who turns the dead into dwarf zombies to do his bidding and take over the world. The Tall Man uses flying silver balls (referred to as Sentinel Spheres by fans) that contain a lethal pair of spiked blades and a drill that eviscerates the victim's brain. Later on in the series, the Sentinel Spheres receive several new attachments, as well as "specialist" spheres including a master ball that is gold in color.

This movie was number 25 on the cable channel Bravo's list of the "100 Scariest Movie Moments".

It was followed by several sequels:

* Phantasm II - a relatively big budget movie
* Phantasm III: Lord of the Dead
* Phantasm IV: Oblivion

Hope this helps

Everybody else seems to think it is Phantasm, so I guess I'll go with that one too.
