How do you know if the baby has engaged? He has been head down since about 28 weeks and Ihave always carried low, but for the past two days I can't even reach around my big ole stomach to wipe, plus when I walk I look like a sumo wrestler because I cannot get my legs close together. On top of all that my "area" and my butt are always so sore, expecially when I am walking around, and sharp pains while I am laying down. Im 35 weeks, is this what is happening. Oh yeah also I have been leaking fluid for about 3 days now, (not my water) could this be caused by dialation or my mucus plug?

You should see a doctor and tell them what you said here and then let them check you out!

first babies usually engage at around 28weeks ,and the fluid could be urine as the baby presses on your bladder,the mucus plug is a thick jelly like plug with a tinge of blood

i would get to the doctor right away!!! congrats on your baby. o also have someone drive u, just to be on the safe side.
