It looks as though John McCain may get the nomination from republicans, and John Edwards may get the democratic nomination. Does this look like a 50 50 election again? Do you like the choices? Who would you vote for?

John McCain is one of the few Republicans I can actually stomach and I also like John Edwards pretty well. I don't think that Edwards is the best choice, though, so I hope that a better contender can get the Democratic candidacy. However, if Edwards is the candidate, I'll vote for him, since I support the Democratic Party platform.

Its way to early to tell either way. John McCain is a good choice but I dint think he is going to get the nomination. Everyone is going to remember his stand on Iraq and since that's the only way to will elections these days he doesn't have a chance.
John Edwards is pretty boy with no idea and no real substance. He actually made Kerry look competent during the last election. There are much stronger Democrat candidates that should be chose if the actually want to win.

It's too far away with too many potential people who may sign up. I'm gonna wait for some more hopefuls. I don't like McCain for sure and I'm not that thrilled with Edwards. There has to be better choices I hope than that.

Not only good but the only choice. With Rudy as vice there moderate views best represents we the people. Congress would be compelled to work in a constructive manner with them as they share many of the same views. Or Congress would face yet another "swing" to the republicans in 2010. It would be obvious partisan politics in an effort to regain the white house by the democrats and we the people would hold them accountable.

After McCain's Finance "Reform" Bill, which was unconstitutional, but the President signed anyway, and his alliance with Ted Kennedy on the education bill, McCain can fly himself a kite. The man will flush his conservatism down the toilet if the cameras are on.

I think a large portion of the Republican base does not like McCain - they see him as too liberal on many issues.

ok..this could look extraordinary, yet hear me out somewhat. I definitely have by no skill voted for a Republican for an place of work any greater than State Assemblyman from my close by district, so i'm infrequently a Republican. Why i could vote for McCain is has not something to do with him and each thing to do with who the Democrats could be putting up. a minimum of for me, the sole Democrat i ought to vote for is Senator Clinton, and to be trustworthy, i could quite yet another Clinton not be in the White living house. between the motives i ought to by no skill vote for Senator Obama is his refusal to combat for himself. i don't think he has the backbone to respond in a disaster; on a similar time as his supporters ought to confirm it as taking the extreme street, his political enemies experience it as a weak spot, so I have not got any doubt our distant places enemies do additionally. I even have confidence he proved my assertion in his reaction to President Bush's handle to the Isreali Knessett. so some distance as Senator Clinton, properly, i'm no distinctive than everybody else of plagued by fatigue from the two families, in spite of if she is one in all my 2 Senators. i think of she could be in a position, and that i've got not got any doubt she's a fighter. it relatively is only unclear she'll be the nominee. So if I do vote for a significant social gathering candidate, given who's positioned on the pollearlier me, my ethical experience could direct me to vote for Senator McCain. this would not recommend I enthusiastically help him. between the gorgeous issues of the country is that i will bypass vote in November and not solid a pollfor President if I so elect; there are adequate close by elections of equivalent concern to me to verify my presence on the sales area in November. consistently submit to in thoughts that, no rely the place you're in this united states of america.
