I'm looking for a natural or herbal way to curb the mood swings associated with PMS. I have TERRIBLE mood swings, to the point that I avoid my family because I don't want to start an argument (I get very nasty and sarcastic). I do not want drugs as I tried lexapro and it made me numb--no anger, but no joy, or happiness either. Any suggestions?

-Eat regularly to keep sugar levels steady which keeps away from becoming anxious and irritable.
-Do regular exercise. Daily go for a brisk walk for 20-30 minutes.

Here are some all natural supplements that will be a great help.

GLA Complex: regains hormonal imbalance by minimizing fluctuations due to nutrient deficiency

B-Complex: helps regain hormonal imbalance; reduces stress; reduces water retention

Performance: helps regulate electrolytes

Alfalfa Complex: reduce trace mineral deficiencies; reduces water retention

Lecithin: insulates nerve bundles

OsteoMatrix (calcium/magnesium): reduces cramps; reduces insomnia

Hope this is helpful and feel free to contact me with questions or the brand I recommend.

I don't know if you drink anything with caffine but that makes PMS and cramps worse, also chocolates, I know for some reason we crave chocolate at this time. You can drink some chamomile tea and its caffine free, do not add sugar. I hope this helps

I'm not a Dr. Thank God! They don't make enough and they spend way to much on their educations.
