Do you like the way things are with a few improvements or does Britain need a serious overhaul

At the present moment in time, neither.

The most recent poll published in the UK on November 7th suggested that at the next election Cameron will poll 36%, Brown will poll 33% and Campbell will poll 20%. This means that the Conservatives would have a lead of 3% over Labour (indicating a swing of 3% to Con since 2005).

When you run those numbers through an election calculator you get the following forecast House of Commons:

Labour 304 seats (despite being 3% behind the Conservatives)
Conservatives 263 seats
Liberal Democrats 51 seats
Others 32 seats

Leaving us with a hung parliament and the Liberal Democrats having the balance of power.

Labour will win, and right this is why. the hollow between Labour and Tories will close as an election gets nearer. simply by quirky equipment, the place votes are solid are greater significant the definitely form of votes. The middle of the Tory seats are in rural aspects, and held by utilising super majorities. The middle of Labour seats are city and specific to have decrease turnouts, or maybe in the marginals, Labour are two times as in all probability to sit down down off under 0.5 the vote than the Tories are. as a result, if the Tories at the instant are not a minimum of 10% only before Labour in the election itself, Gordon Brown will nonetheless be PM. To all those giving thumbs down - the question exchange into not "who could you vote for?" or "who could you have chose to win?" - i think of I definitely have given useful lower back as much as my answer.

Britain needs a serious overhaul!! I would not vote for any of the three main parties!

We have a dangerous situation in the UK at this time. In the mid nineties, a small clique known as New Labour took control of the Labour Party, did away with socialism and moved the party to the right. In an attempt to distinguish themselves from New Labour, the Conservatives went further to the right: too far right for the majority of the British people. This led directly to three Westminster defeats for the Tories. Gordon Brown is continuing with the New Labour agenda. Cameron has repeated the New Labour trick with the Tories, effectively hijacking the party and moving them back to the centre right, which is currently occupied by New Labour.

The net result of this will be a crisis of democracy as both main parties offer the same basic policies. The only difference will be in presentation and personalities.

The only credible third party (outside Wales and Scotland who have their own Nationalist parties) are the Liberal Democrats. They used to be the centre party but by remaining where they are on the political spectrum, they have effectively become the major left-wing party as the others have dashed for the centre right.

A vote for either Labour or Conservative will be a vote for the right. Anybody who is naturally of the old centre or left really ought to vote Liberal Democrat.

Its a shame but i think the BNP have a good chance, as they seem to be the only ones who actually want to do something rather than sit around, talking b***ocks and raking in a healthy salary.

I would say Cameron but the more you see of him the more he appears to be simply copying whay Blair did when he came to power, and what is someone so leftist doing in the Conservatives anyway?

Both couldn't run a p*** up in a brewery between them. Britain needed a serious overhaul a long time ago-the damage has been done by all of the latest so called leaders.

BRING BACK MAGGIE!!!!!

Smiley Tony has been PM for too long, though I don't relish the idea of the Brown boy being the next leader. What I want is a proper socialist government!

To answer your question, I expect Brown will be the next Labour leader and they will just about scrape in in the next election.

The way things are going and with the unrest that is sweeping the UK I can see the BNP or UKIP being serious contenders that could win the election xx
