Can a dog be obsessive? Or a cat Schizophrenic? Or a lion depressed? Or an elephant bipolar?

Supposedly my sister in laws cat has obsessive compulsive disorder, she rips all her hair off her belly and legs. Obsessive compulsive I don't know, weird cat for sure.

If you ask a dog, he will say he's human and the rest are animals. All animals think they're the most superior of all living beings. They have to deal with their ego and the mental illnesses associated with it.
If we let them loose into the wild, they might seek their psychiatrists first before getting on with their 'new' natural habitat.

I don't know if it can be classified the same way as humans, but I believe there are some animals out there with some very weird habits that if they were a human they would need counseling!
Anyone with a brain can have it wired wrong.

Well, we know that dogs suffer from anxiety (separation), depression, and boredom. Cats likewise can experience anxiety, (excessive scratching on surfaces), and it seems that since dogs are highly intelligent, this would be one reason why.
I also believe they are intuitive as cats are, and take on the emotions of the people around them.

Yes. My friend's dog has to take doggy prozac for his depression.

Why not they are God's creation and they should also have way's are granted to all
men and animals.
