whats the best way to deal with troublesome nabours tell the police or go old school and sort them and the problem yourself

It will have to be the old school way.
If you go to the police they wont really be arsed it jus means extra paper work for them. If they finally do decide to help it will be a really slow process and go on for ages.
There first step will proberbly be them having a friendly chat with your neighbours to help make it all better.
In reality the neighbours wont give a dam and will proberbly get worse they know theres not much the police can do.
Sorry mate wish i could tell you that they could sort it out properley and quick but they wont.
Your best of sorting it out yourself.
I recommend shooting them and bury them in the back garden plant some flowers over the top and nobody will ever know.
Then you get your peace and quiet back. Sorted.
If you dont wanna do it yourself why not ask another next question
and see if anybody is willing to do it for you. Hey you never know!

I'd say go old school, but then they'll probably be the first to tell the police and if you haven't got evidence of what they did in the first place then you'll probably get done for something.
I'd say speak to the police - tell them whats happening and find out what can be done about it, then get some evidence and take it back to the police so they can take action.

involve the police and you'll be labelled a troublesome rat - deal with it yourself and you'll probably get beaten up!
Do you have some kinda of community watch thing that you could report them to?
Or alternatively ring the police and tell them that you would prefer to remain anonomous as you dont want to attract bad attention from these neighbours.

I had that last year, I went old school at first and gave the girl merry hell even more than she gave me, she hated it and played up even more, so that the rest of the neighbours called the police and the maniac was evicted! it was brilliant!

It all depends on the type of situation you got going if you feel these are the type of people who would get rowdy and start some mess, then i would call the police to intervene while i got my point across if you feel that they are the type people that could talk then maybe you could talk to them about their nuisance.

That's a toughy because you have to live by them and if they have no morals they may want revenge. I'd say talk to the police to see if it can be anonymous.
