1. PROCTER & GAMBLE.
The classic bad one has to be Procter & Gamble's former logo with the man-in-the-moon and thirteen stars, which was (falsely) claimed to be satanic. P&G eventually despaired of ever overcoming the continuous allegations of connections with satanism, and dropped the logo.

2. FRENCH CONNECTION UK
The British clothing manufacturer courted controversy with the use of its initials as a logo - making a thinly-disguised swear word. To much amusement it has tried to protect its use of obscenity in court, and it has been subject to banning orders by the Advertising Standards Authority, and boycott campaigns. The company has now changed its marketing plan, and abandoned the "tired" logo.
