i replaced into and nevertheless am, the very similar way with my almost 10 month previous. I nevertheless panic at the same time as he has something vast in his mouth that he will choke. issues i began with were potato fries, effortless pasta, steamed veg, banana and different tender fruit. He picked up the chewing element quite quick. Now he loves rice crackers, vegimite on bread (we are in Australia lol) and cheese sticks. basically flow with tender ingredients that destroy down easily. he will be wonderful and he will love the hot feels of diverse nutrition. it really is a scary time, yet i'm quick studying that it really is a relaxing time. Oh, and a touch tip is to have the video digicam waiting. once you introduce new ingredients. You get some heavily humorous pictures :-) good success.

Your daughter really should not be eating finger foods until she knows how to chew using her gums, other wise when the finger foods in her mouth she will just swallow which wll cause her to choke. You can try on maybe oat meal, mashed potatoes, carrots.or peas so that she can be satified or full. It sounds like she isn't ready for finger foods yet.

Make sure the foods are cut small enough so she cannot choke. My kids started with finger foods at about 6 months.

try applesauce with small, soft chunks in it (make it yourself), lightly toasted bread and butter, there are also cereal biscuits that you can buy that dissolve really easily in the mouth. keep the pieces really small. have a snack with her so she can watch how you eat and chew - she'll imitate you

Try dry Cherrios - They're little and get mushy when saliva hits them.
