Have a few drinks and run him over in your car, you'll get away with it. Drunk drivers always do.

Yes - Ask yourself honestly why you are bothered?

Is it Jealousy, pride hurt, dented ego etc?

The best calming technique is the most simple of all - smile at him, go along with his power surge in fact exaggerate everything he says and does. Be over keen to help, give him astonishing praise, hang on his every word, simply agree agree agree.

Knowing that you are so taking the piss out of him will make you feel a million times happier about it, but he won't understand at all, he will simply see you as super obliging, giving you the absolute upper hand.

The more you do it the funnier it gets and you will see that in fact he is simply insecure, afraid of people interaction, hates being rejected and has a miilion little hang ups eating away at him - hence the need when given a little authority to go on a big power trip.

Someone is only your 'boss' if you allow them to be so and act subserviently. However act alongside them by going along with everything completely wrong foots them, because for some strange reason all the power and confidence will seem to lie with you as far as he's concerned and you will have successfully turned the tables.

Try it - youll feel calm in no time!!

Take slow deep breaths and exhale very slowly. Do some internal dialog with yourself. Tell yousef that this co worker has a big problem and is irritating.....but you being a wiser person so in a way go to a relaxed zen sort of hpynotic plase whenever he is around. Be the bigger person....let his personality just roll off your back. If you behave like him then you are no better than him.

He is the person with the problem and you being aggitated only hurts you not him. You can't change him, but you can change how you react to him. Remember it is obvious to the whole office that he is a creep. And you will be seen as the bigger man who can deal with this man't dystunction.

Be secure in who you are. If you do that you will come across to others as the much better person.
Karma will take care of this dued.

Hang in there

Count to ten backwards, as fast as you can. If you smoke go for a ciggy that is what helps me when i get agitated. [ I dont drink , OK ] then walk back in smile cutely at the person and commence doing your job. Ask them if you can get them a cup of coffee and spit in it. aargh sis.

Sounds just like my deputy manager (newly appointed). Leave him /her to it and just wait for them to come unstuck, that is what we are all doing. It cant come quick enough.
She is bombastic, a bully and is causing conflict within the work place. And she also "INSTRUCTS US to do as she says". There has got to be a God up there that will give these sort of people their comeupance. Until then kid we have to grin and bear it unfortunately.God help us all.

Just walk away from the situation for a few minutes, and take a few deep breaths. Then try to picture him in a silly situation like naked or on the toilet.

Just ask your self what i call the "may-be" questions!
May-be he/she is sick
May-be he/she just had a bad time and so-on

And before u know it your nerves is completely eased!!

I tried it and it works, so go ahead, give it a try.

Try taking a few minutes to have a breather, leave the room if you can and remember, it's just a job, you work to live not live to work!
