Do pbs shows get money?

Since it is a public broadcasting station I was wondering if they got paid as much as they would if they were on another station

They don't get paid AS much as the other stations. They mainly get money from their telethons/donations and a few of their sponsors.

They are sponsored by "Viewers like you"

they get paid, but it is nonprofit, so there should be no over paid bigwigs.
