If someone knocks you down physically, get back up.
If someone, or something 'knocks you down' hypothetically speaking, dust yourself off, shake off the negative and get back to your feet. Forget that you may have suffered a short loss or a minor pitfall, just continue with your life and shrug off and forget about the bad and focus on the good.

i do not understand the situation
back up means

that is back up is a copy of the existing thing so that it can be used during any damages to the real copy
that it a substitution

may be this might not match ur situation

That means that we may have come across obstacles in our goal and might have been knocked back or knocked down in attempting to reach a goal but if we were knocked down or back by some obstacles, we just have to pick ourselves up and try again...
