Yes. What seems impractical to me is to constantly worry about things over which one has absolutely no control. One way I maintain peace of mind is by realizing and accepting that there are things I simply cannot control.

Peace of mind... i think people feel that after saying 'I'm sorry", and hearing the "its ok, dont worry about it" phases, then is when u feel that everything will be alright, and that u dont have to carry a burden of guilt...

but, i dont think people can stay in state of peace of mind during a long period, or at least, not inside society, maybe if they get away, and live peaceful lives or something like that, but...at least in the cities it would be really hard...

Not really, nowadays everybody is caught up with everything in this world. they do not stop to rest at all. Not much people ever stop to think about themselves at the young age. Only elderly people do, I think if we all actually stop and think for ourselves and reflect there past, there will be some peace of mind. For me, I am a buddhist and I follow its teachings, I sort of find it easier to find that peace of mind whenever I want.

Yes, if you really have faith in HIM. No matter what your religion, what is important is that you HAVE FAITH.
The world is too materialistic nowadays. People seems not to be contented with what they have. However, if you are contented with simple living everything will be fine. Sometimes we compain too much and work too hard! We want this and we want that. We didnt realize that we had received so much blessings that sometimes some people dont know how to be grateful!
