Just been there and it's lovely! Gateway of India is a good start, you can go to the Taj Hotel or visit the Elephanta Caves. It's very easy to find city tour buses from the GOI, altough I believe you're better off sightseeing on your own (but then, the buses are very cheap and if you have spare time anyway..). If you're interested in religious places, do visit the Sai Baba mandir in Shirdi, which is not too far away from Mumbai. In Mumbai itself the Siddhivinayak Mandir is very popular, and I loved the Haji Ali Mosque as well. Then you have the Hanging Garden in Malabar Hill which is quite a nice place to hang out in the evening. As for the beaches, don't miss our Chowpatti and Juhu beach! And last but not least, you can view the houses of many Bollywood stars (from the outside of course) or opt for Filmcity or any Film studio, altough they might have restricted access. According to me, Mumbai is a very enjoyable city, you won't regret your stay!

Their temples are amazing, as is the street market.
We also went to the Elephanta Caves, by boat, that were destroyed by the Portugese.... absolutely amazing!!!!
The Taj Mahal hotel is very interesting as well and gives an in site to how the British lived during their rule.

It become earlier whilst Mumbai become a place to flow to with beautifull towers, Gardens, Grounds and Marine rigidity and plenty greater. yet now it has become grimy as a results of fact of our great politicians. as a result it has become slumbai, quite some slums as Gov will grant them unfastened homestead. No open areas. it fairly is greater useful do no longer flow to mumbai in undemanding terms to flow to. while you're from Mumbai you are able to flow to Marine rigidity, Gateway of India,, you are able to verify in google.
